We believe our customers should have a variety of choices when it comes to their personal finances. We offer a full range of checking accounts and services to fit the many financial needs of our customers. Each of the personal accounts we offer, comes with the first 50 checks free, free direct deposit and automatic payment services, free use of Root River State Bank’s Internet Banking and free ATM/Check Card (subject to approval).

 

Freedom Checking

Features:

• No fee checking account
• No minimum balance or monthly service charge fee
• Unlimited check writing; safekeeping required
• Opening deposit of $50 required

Traditional Checking

Features:

• Monthly service charge fee of $5.00 if the balance falls below the minimum daily balance of $250
• Unlimited check writing; checks returned in statement
• Opening deposit of $100 required

Heritage Interest Checking

Features:

• Monthly service charge fee of $8.00 if the balance falls below the minimum daily balance of $500
• Earn a competitive interest rate on this interest bearing account
• Unlimited check writing; checks returned in statement
• Opening deposit of $200 required

Heritage Plus Checking

Features:

• Monthly service charge fee of $10.00 if the balance falls below the minimum daily balance of $1,500
• Earn a competitive interest rate on this interest bearing account (featuring a higher rate than Heritage Interest checking)

• Opening deposit of $500 required

Generation 55

Features:

• For customers 55 years and above
• No minimum daily balance or monthly service charge fee
